The short answer
The best base for a Roma-Condesa eating trip. Walk to Contramar, Rosetta, Máximo, and Buna in under 15 minutes each. Bar on the roof is worth a nightcap even if you're not staying.

Orizaba 95, half a block from Plaza Río de Janeiro. Ask for a courtyard-facing room — the Orizaba side gets weekend street noise until 2am. Cerveza de Barrio downstairs is Michelin-listed and takes walk-ins for lunch. Contramar is a 12-minute walk, Rosetta is 8, Máximo Bistrot is 10. This is the location, full stop.

Editorial note
"The design pedigree is real but the reason to book is location. You will walk everywhere you want to eat."
