Pánuco 36 is a calm daytime restaurant on Río Pánuco in Colonia Cuauhtémoc — a residential pocket most tourists skip. The soundtrack is deliberately mellow, the light through the front windows is excellent, and the short menu leans on a rotating soup of the day (the cream-of-corn is a house standard) and a very good guacamole.
